Welcome to Detroit Area Council Camps! If you are a Scout, Scout Leader, or parent, we think you should consider one of Detroit Area Council camps as the place for all of your camping. We know it will take little to convince Scout units in the Detroit Area Council to come to to either Cole Canoe Base or D-bar-A Scout Ranch. They have been doing so--willingly and enthusiastically-- for more than over 80 years combined. They know that Detroit Area Council always meets or exceeds the expectations of their Scouts, leaders, and parents.
