Districts

A Scouting District is the next level of Scouting organization above the Pack, Troop or Crew level. Every Council is divided into geographical Districts, and all units belong to only one District — it’s all designed to help organize and serve Scouting units. You can find your District generally on the map opposite, and check on the specifics in the District pages. The District structure is designed to help and support Packs, Troops, Crews, Posts and Groups in its area, and will have a Chairman and a full committee of volunteers working to insure that the best possible Scouting program reaches its District youth.

The Detroit Area Council, BSA covers 3 of the largest counties within Metro-Detroit area (Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland) and is divided into 8 districts.  Just click on your District on the left to be connected to the district web site.
